In this workshop, we’ll explore public speaking—not through exaggerated gestures or forced emotion, but by sincerely sharing insight with the listener. Drawing on a Meisner principle of “the reality of doing,” we put the doing into the word.
A speech does not require performance—it needs to be heard. Its impact comes from clarity, not embellishment. There is no need to act out the circumstance, chase an emotional effect, or emphasize the meaning with body language. Eloquence arises from delivering words with intention, letting them reach the listener’s ear.
Many people feel uneasy when speaking in public. As a result, they often do too much—forcing their voice, fidgeting, pulling faces, or accompanying every word with a gesture. This can distract from what matters most: the words themselves.
In this workshop, we’ll see how grounding yourself in the text and allowing it to speak creates true connection. When you step aside and trust the words, these words will work for you and reach your audience.
Strong Communication
An engaging speech isn’t just about “pushing your message”; it’s about real connection with your text and allowing the audience to digest it. Whether you’re an actor, a teacher, an entrepreneur, or a politician, delivering you messages with ease will increase the impact of your words.
Listening to Your Audience
As a speaker you need to listens more to the audience than the other way around. By observing how your words land, you can adjust on the spot for greater clarity.
Enhancing Dramatic Technique
This approach stems from the Meisner training: just as with acting, you rely on the present moment, your impulses, connecting with the words and constant interaction with your audience or partner.
Practical & Concrete
We use actual texts (from classic to modern speeches) that you can relate to as a human being.
Focus on Content & Delivery
You’ll experience how “thought” and “speech” support each other in order to speak calmly but determinately.
Small-Group Coaching
Because classes are kept small, you’ll receive intensive one-on-one feedback on your physicality, voice use, interpretation, and personal presentation style.
Grow Professionally & Personally
Whether performing a monologue on stage or delivering a speech at work, speaking with sincerity, calm, and authenticity makes a huge difference.
In short, this workshop help you uncover—and refine—your own inner speaker so you can share your message with confidence. Stand firm, breathe steadily, and let your words shape a new reality for those who listen.
